Jun 24, 2024 21:02 – The slow eruption of lava in the summit crater of Great Sitkin Volcano continues. Over the past day, a few minor earthquakes were detected beneath the volcano every hour. A few satellite images indicated barely elevated surface temperatures. These observations have been typical for the ongoing eruptive period. The current lava flow eruption began in July 2021.
